The Lake House Pub & Grille isn’t kidding about the lake-house part the restaurant is perched on Bomoseen’s shore. Those living near Lake Champlain in northern Vermont might forget about Lake Bomoseen to the south in Rutland County. The Inn at Shelburne Farms, 1611 Harbor Road, Shelburne. Fans of fine dining and fine scenery hope so, too. “We certainly hope to open the Inn and Restaurant for May-October 2022,” Shelburne Farms’ website reads. But when it reopens, you can sit on the patio and admire Lake Champlain as it extends seemingly forever into the horizon.
